A best practice youth suicide prevention project designed to harness the power of peer social networks to change unhealthy norms and culture, ultimately preventing suicide, bullying, and substance abuse. The mission of Sources of Strength is to prevent suicide by increasing help seeking behaviors and promoting connections between peers and caring adults. Sources of Strength moves beyond a singular focus on risk factors by utilizing an upstream approach for youth suicide prevention. This upstream model strengthens multiple sources of support (protective factors) around young individuals so that when times get hard they have strengths to rely on.
In the last three years, we’ve raised and given away over $50,000 to four area D-38 and D-20 high schools for the suicide prevention program, Sources of Strength.
Register in person on
Friday, Sept 17, 12pm - 7pm or

Join us in reaching our goal to raise $20,000 to be used for suicide prevention in four D38 and D20 high schools (Lewis Palmer, Palmer Ridge, Discovery Canyon and The Classical Academy). By investing in this annual event you’ll be helping us provide assistance to those teens in our community that need us most!
As part of your sponsorship, you are eligible to provide “give-aways” or SWAG with your logo or brand that will be included in runner’s race packets or given to them at the end of the race. We anticipate 350 runners. Deadline to include materials in packets and to be printed on race day materials is August 19, 2020.

Additional info is available in the "Where and How do I Enter My Results" section below.

Results can be entered anytime between 12:01am on September 18th and 11:59pm on September 26th. The "Edit Time" link will appear on the results page at 12:01am on September 18th and it will remain active through September 26th.
WHERE AND HOW DO I ENTER MY RESULTS?
You'll enter your time on the
Run4Hope results page. Entering times is quick and easy!
You also have the option enter a link to your GPS map if you run with a GPS watch or tracking app on your smartphone. (This is optional -- a GPS link is not required to enter your time). Supported apps include Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, MapMyRun, RunKeeper, MovesCount, EndoMondo, SportsTrackLive, and TomTom Sports. If your app is not on this list, please feel free to enter it anyway and Racing Underground will do their best to add that app functionality to the results page.
